International Conference on Women Empowerment, Language Studies and Social Studies – 2020 organized by the departments of English, Tamil, Malayalam, History, Physical Education, Library Studies, Economics, Management, and Commerce of Scott Christian College (A), Nagercoil, Kanniyakumari Dist., Tamil Nadu in collaboration with IMRF Institute of Higher Education & Research, shall be one of the significant conferences in Languages, Literature, Education, Women Empowerment & Social Sciences. The Conference is designed with Special Invited Research Lectures, Paper Presentations and Poster Presentations. The main intention of this Conference is to reflect the pioneering state of research in Languages, Literature, Education, Women Empowerment & Social Sciences.
About Scott Christian College
Scott Christian College, an autonomous college Affiliated to the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli (Re-accredited with A grade by NAAC) is administered by the Church of South India, Kanniyakumari Diocese. The College is located at Nagercoil; a town in the southernmost Indian state of Tamil Nadu and administrative headquarters of Kanniyakumari District. The Scott Christian College named after Mr. Septimus R. Scott, an English philanthropist, was started in 1893. A generous foreign supporter of this institution has evolved from the educational work started by the Rev. William Tobias Ringeltaube, the first Missionary of the London Missionary Society. The School founded in 1809 at Mylaudy, a place about 10 miles from here, was shifted to Nagercoil by Rev. Charles Mead, his successor in April 1818. In 1819, it became the Central School in the field. It rose to the second Grade College in 1893 affiliated to the University of Madras. In 1938, when the University of Travancore was founded in the former princely State of Travancore to which this area belonged the College was admitted to its privileges. In 1950, the institution was raised to a first Grade College providing Mathematics (B.Sc.) and History (B.A.) Degree Courses. we have almost all subjects in the Science and Humanities sections besides Commerce, Computer Science, Physical Education and Management Studies. Pre-doctoral courses like M.Phil., were introduced in 1984 followed by PhD. Centres in Economics (1990), Tamil (1998), Zoology (1998), Botany (1999), Commerce (2000), English (2003), Chemistry (2004), History (2008), Physics (2010) and Mathematics (2011).
INTERNATIONAL MULTIDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH FOUNDATION (IMRF) is an Academic Research Association of Scholars, Academicians & Scientists from India and Abroad which is now IMRF Institute of Higher Education & Research is committed to promote value & ethical research in the young research scholars & modern society. IMRF serves different subjects under the Sub Subjective Associations and the Sub Teams organize International Conferences in their respective subjects purely to impart & institute ethical research.

Wide range of accommodation to suit every pocket and requirement are available in Nagercoil Town around the vicinity of the Venue of the Conference. These include lodges, guest houses, and tourist hotels of all ranges. Accommodation costs have to be paid by the participant only.

By Air: There are daily flights from Delhi, Bombay, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad. Trivandrum International Airport is at a distance of 76 km from the Venue. You can book Ola, Uber or airport operated taxi to reach conference Venue.
By Rail: Nagercoil Junction Railway Station is well connected with all major stations by rail. Conference Venue is 5 Kms from Railway Station.
By Road: Inter State bus Terminal and local buses connect with the neighbouring towns and cities. Conference venue is 1 km distance from Nagercoil Town Bus Station
Local Conveyance: 24 hours local means of conveyance like Ola, Cars/Auto Rickshaws are available.
